Located in the heart of the historical Mount Vernon neighborhood, The Ivy Hotel is a gem with hidden treasures around every corner of the boutique hotel. Sean and I spent the weekend exploring the city and taking in the beautiful sights of Baltimore.
Today we ventured to Blue Shutters Beach for the release of Puck, a two-year-old Harp Seal. Mystic Aquarium nursed him back to health after they found him alone and wounded at the beginning of March. It was such a great experience to watch Puck waddle back to his home in the ocean!
Afterwards, we headed to the Kiel James Patrick Factory to finish the plans for tomorrow's adventure!

I'm writing to you from the airport in DC. One flight down, one to go before we arrive in The Ocean State! I'm traveling with two of my fellow adventurists from South Carolina. We're so excited! I was up and ready to go before the sun and then hit the Rhode to start the adventure of a lifetime!
