Meet the six new members of the crew! After meeting each other on Friday and settling into our apartment, I can already tell we are going to have the best time together this summer.
The past three days have been filled with excitement—an afternoon boat ride, a polo match, and exploring the beautiful area we will call home for the next two months!
Our Saturday afternoon started at the Chowder Cook-Off where there were chowdah connoisseurs everywhere enjoying the live music and comparing their favorite samples.
After the cook-off, we explored more of Newport and then headed to Bowen's Wharf to meet Greg for an afternoon boat ride.
We woke up early Sunday morning and traveled to Connecticut for Serendipity Magazine's charity polo event at the Greenwich Polo Club. It was my first time in Connecticut and also my first polo match. It was an afternoon I will never forget! Everyone was dressed to the nines the atmosphere was great for people watching!
I'm extremely excited to spend the rest of the summer with my new friends! They are so creative and have so much passion for what they do. I can't wait to start working on projects together; we've got some exciting things planned!
